Team structure: Part of the Publishing Department
Location (hybrid schedule/working hours): Turner Falls, MA (5x onsite)
Reason for opening: These roles have been remote and they are looking to bring onsite and build out the Publishing department onsite.
Top 3 Must Haves:
- Graphic Design
- 3+ years of experience
- Ideally Publications or related experience, understanding of book layout and composition, bringing the product together, graphics, revisions, reprints etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably at least one with book layout and composition
- degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline
- competency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) on Mac platform
- preparing files for digital and print output
- and color correcting skills
- high standards of design and finished product
- love of typography and color theory
