Role/Title : Embedded Systems Engineer;
Location : Philadelphia, PA (3 Days Hybrid);
Type : Full Time Only;
Visa: USC/GC / GCEAD
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a strong focus on software development in C, C++, Rust, and RDK.
Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, memory management, and peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.).
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or VxWorks.
Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems, including JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile development environments and using tools such as JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
