Position Summary:


The Product Success & Systems Manager collaborates with breeders, agronomists, and other seed development teams to deeply understand Nuseed products performance and anticipate challenges and opportunities. This role will accelerate and maximize the adoption of new products by the growers through the implementation specific trials and data analysis to explore yield and oil quality potential and product performance across environments.

Objectives & Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Product Placement and Systems Manager (PPSM) will characterize Omega 3 products in late development breeding cycle.
  • Selection, placement, and delivery of new Omega 3 products to the commercial portfolio.
  • Design and implement systems trials to improve Omega 3 performance.
  • Technical product characterization.
  • Prospect new growing regions for our Omega 3 product.
  • Connect and collaborate locally with multi-functional teams (Commercial, supply and R&D) to build and support the product strategy.
  • Implement the Product placement and systems process for target market(s), including:
  • Coordinate late-stage trialing protocol in the region (trial entry selection, testing locations, field/lab phenotypic note collection, competence analyses, checks)
  • Ensure high quality data for promotion decisions and placement.
  • Select products for advancement across late stages development.
  • Collaborate on product descriptions to support new product launches to ensure proper product placement.
  • Ensure that hybrids promoted to late stage are aligned with market targets.
  • Promote operational synergies that improve the generation of information (quantity and quality) for product positioning, coordinating the data generation plan together with Agronomy teams and local partners.


Position Specific Skills & Expertise:

  • Knowledge of product development with thorough knowledge of germplasm, GM trait value, data analysis, variety / hybrid positioning within the key markets; Canola experience as a plus.
  • Knowledge of agronomic and crop management practices
  • Good understanding of experimental design and data management.
  • Experience in practical field phenotyping including ground note and remote note collection.
  • Critical evaluation of current agricultural practices related to raising row crops.
  • Ability to interact effectively with grower / customer.
  • BS with 10 years commercial agronomy or relevant experience & training
  • M.S 4+ years in one of the agricultural sciences such as plant breeding/genetics, agronomy, or plant physiology desirable

Salary Range: $120,000- $160,000 USD

Nuseed takes several factors into consideration when determining salary ranges. These factors include, but are not limited to, candidate experience, education, geographical location, and industry. Nuseed roles are incentive eligible and offer a robust benefit package that are not reflected in the noted salary range.
