Lunova Group is searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to join our client, one of the world s leading companies in the elevator industry.

As a New Installation Operations Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing all new installation operations processes, employees, and projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the profitable functioning of the department, exceeding the annual budgetary plan. Responsibilities:


  • Supervises and trains superintendents and employees, including hiring, managing performance, and implementing disciplinary actions.
  • Administers the company's safety program, including conducting safety audits and emphasizing safety to employees.
  • Plans, directs, and prioritizes elevator installations and manpower needs, utilizing project management software.
  • Reviews job status using accounting reports to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with contractors, consultants, construction firms, and architects.
  • Attends pre-bid meetings, provides technical input for bids, and reviews and signs off on bids and change orders.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of elevator industry code requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Resolves complaints and problems of external and internal customers, including union employee issues.
  • Coordinates material orders and subcontracting for installations.
  • Makes regular site visits to manage safety, progress, and customer relations.
  • Performs other assigned duties.


Requirements:

  • Thorough elevator industry experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree (substitutable with extensive industry and management experience), or two years' experience managing at a branch departmental level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and to work with both abstract and concrete variables.
  • Willingness to accommodate individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.


Salary range is $120,000 to $160,000. The role offers a car allowance, fuel card, and a lucrative incentive program with a bi-annual payout.
