**Location:** Onalaska, WI; Building A

**Hours:** Monday Friday; 8:00 am 5:00 pm

**Compensation:** $24.75 - $31.50 per hour

**Purpose & Summary:** As the Quality & Inventory Specialist, you will develop and implement a culture of Quality and Root Cause Issue Resolution for all ITAD operating locations. You will perform inspections of products and materials to verify conformity to quality and compliance standards. In this role, you will make recommendations to Operations Management to improve quality and compliance of the ITAD process stream. Support the operations managers and supervisors will be crucial to ensure that issues related to quality, compliance, safety and inventory are evaluated and analyzed to root cause and that effective solutions are implemented to avoid reoccurrence. You will work with Corporate Operations to document and track corrective action opportunities and plans. In addition, you will work with process owners and stakeholders to develop and implement quality assurance and control plans to reduce the incidence of non-conformances. You will have the opportunity to work with ITAD sales and operations to design and implement effective inventory control and cycle counting processes for finished goods and work in process. Lastly, in this position you will develop and track metrics related to quality, cost of quality and inventory accuracy. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

**Requirements & Qualifications:** For consideration as the Quality & Inventory Specialist, candidates must possess a post high school education in Management, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering, however, we will also consider applicants with relevant experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of three years of Quality, Inventory and Production Control, Process Specialist, Quantitative Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis is required. Additional qualifications include:

* Understanding and delivering appropriate metrics and data to all levels of management.

* Understand how to establish quality assurance and inventory control programs including planning, design, implementation, metrics definition and reporting.

* Understand how to calculate the cost of quality and inventory accuracy.

* Understand how to perform root cause analysis to identify sustainable solutions to quality, compliance, safety and inventory non-conformances.

* Fluency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint, web based systems and Google Docs for data analytics and reporting.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Strong written and verbal communications.

* Ability to teach team members new processes and procedures.

* Strong observation, analytical, numerical reasoning and business acumen.

* Sense of urgency and ability to hit targeted deadlines.

* Accurate written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong engagement and influencing approach.

* Ability to effectively provide opportunities for improvement and process changes required in a non-confrontational way.

* Ability to audit quality, compliance, safety and inventory standards and effectively coach team members to eliminate the root causes of process failures.

* Ability to apply logic, abstract thinking and quantitative analysis to finding the root causes of issues.

**Outstanding candidates may also possess these bonus qualifications:**

* Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma and Project Management

* NAID, R2, ISO, TS and/or QS experience and knowledge.

* Knowledge of computer and electronic systems and components.

* Green Belt certification.

* Experience with advanced data visualization and reporting systems.

* Prior experience in an audit and/or compliance role.

* ERP familiarity.

* Ability to visualize and communicate processes procedures and information to all levels of the organization.

* Experience with public speaking
