ATG is looking for a highly effective self-motivated Procurement Professional.

Duties and Responsibility
- Issues purchase orders and agreements that accurately reflect prices, schedules, terms, and conditions as negotiated with suppliers.
- Manage procurement daily tasks with assigned commodity suppliers tactically while using strategic thinking.
- Able to solve problems and manage supplier issues.
- Build and distribute relevant commodity knowledge.
- Conducts industry analysis, supplier analysis, scenario analysis risk assessment.
- Coordinate requests for quote and supply evaluations and recommendations.
- Help source new vendors create and support supplier relationships.
- Investigate and supply recommendations of new opportunities on the market for new suppliers, and product report findings to group users and project teams.
- Negotiates final terms and conditions of purchase awards and administers the procurement contact to conclusion.
- Facilities inspection, substitutions and standardization by arranging and participating in conferences between supplier and company personnel.
- Monitors and evaluates supplier performance.
- Resolves shipment quality discrepancies by mediating supplier/manufacturing issues.
- Quickly identify, and correct supply chain "W.I.P" episodes, work proactively with planning to resolve.
- Participate in project management meetings.
- Identify areas for price and total cost savings.
Qualifications
Minimum experience of 5 years in Procurement. Aerospace or medical device background preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years of experience in leu of a degree
