Job Title: Chemicals Customer Service Representative

This is a long-term Contract position that is Hybrid: Two days in the office and three at home.


Job Description: As a Customer Service Representative, you will collaborate with our Client's customer service team, working alongside two other representatives. Your primary responsibilities will involve monitoring price updates, liaising with account management regarding pricing discrepancies, and ensuring timely shipment of orders.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • SAP experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated customer support experience or similar role
  • Strong phone handling and active listening skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and patience with customers and internal stakeholders

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred, with at least 5 years of related experience; equivalent industry experience considered
  • Proficient working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) in a manufacturing setting
  • Functional expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint to assist Regional Manager, sales team, and customers
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving, persuasion, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Quick comprehension of general business, market information, and technical product details to support the department
  • Experience in international logistics operations and familiarity with export compliance regulations is advantageous.
