Capper s Insurance Service has an exciting sales opportunity for existing insurance agents or for anyone looking to start a career in the financial services space! Capper s Insurance Service has served individuals and families for 93 years. Today, our sales agents have the advantages of working from home, their office and/or meeting with prospective clients in their own home. We have 8,000 policyholders available for cross selling, upselling and securing referrals. Capper s Insurance Service agents can participate in Educational Medicare Seminars, strategic alliances and other prospecting avenues. Our marketing efforts are strengthened by the trust and familiarity of national brands like Capper s Farmer, Mother Earth News, Grit, Farm Collector magazines and others.



Designed to ensure your success - As a Capper s Insurance Sales Representative you will receive product knowledge training and field training, as needed, from experienced career sales employees. Our sales employees enjoy the comfort of their home each evening as our business model eliminates overnight travel. Plus, you ll be provided with targeted prospect lists to make your sales calls, providing you with an abundance of sales opportunities.

Education/Experience:

  • Associates Degree
  • 2+ years experience in working in an insurance sales role
  • Life, Health, and Accident License required
  • AHIP certification required



Skills/Knowledge:

  • Phone and face-to-face sales experience
  • Knowledge about programs and able to effectively answer prospect questions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated- Must be willing to work on your own doing tasks and prospect on your own.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail



Responsibilities:

  • Meet with prospective and existing clients
  • Call on 100 plus people a week
  • Complete and process applications for Life and health applications
  • Ensure a positive customer experience and satisfaction through relationship building
  • Submit sales to management daily.
  • Update CRM system, provide various reports to management
