Keen Transport is seeking an experienced Operations Manager. If you're passionate about leading teams, providing a safe work environment, and exceeding expectations, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead supervisory staff to meet processing goals, metrics, and targets
  • Ensure that adequate training and tools are provided to all employees
  • Evaluate and establish operating procedures
  • Ensure that workplace safety standards are met
  • Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, business associates and employees
  • Ensure that supervisory staff is cross-trained in multiple functions, and embraces a team-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Develop, motivate and train all levels of employees for their professional development and future growth

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5-7 years planning, directing operations
  • Practical knowledge of revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results
  • Experience leading continuous process improvements to achieve a safe and cost-efficient work environment that meets performance targets
  • SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications
  • Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions
