**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements. Key Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift. Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded. Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy. Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards. Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Complete daily inspection of equipment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the items in the appropriate

* Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of Report quality variances.

* Pull and prepare product for shipment , ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service and Crown Bakeries

* Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into

* Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and load functions, as required. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

* On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work

* Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.

* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work

* Able to understand & follow Safety Procedures, including Personal Protective Equipment (goggles, face shields, hand and ear protection, etc.)

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* High School diploma or equivalence in training

* Must have prior forklift experience, minimum of at least 1 to 2 years

* Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment is needed.

* Good communication skills

* Possess a positive attitude.

* Able to use basic equipment in a food manufacturing facility and simple tools, including scale, caliper, magnet, thermometer, sieve shaker. More instrumentation as needed.

* Ability to work independently, self-starter

* Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

Work in a noisy environment for length of shift.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to bend, twist, stand, climb stairs/ladders, push/pull, and walk for the length of shift.

Able to work flexible schedule and weekends

Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends and holidays

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Work in an enclosed indoors area.

Work in wet and/or humid conditions.

Work in cold or hot environments.
