Machinery Service & Repair Technician - N.B. Handy

Skills and Abilities:

Able to diagnose problems and service sheet metal machinery and related metal fabricating machinery through repair and maintenance.
Purchases new replacement parts for machinery.
Fabricates miscellaneous components (covers, guards, supports, etc.) for machinery.
Cleans machinery using pressure washer, steam cleaner, or parts degreaser.
Observes all company safety practices and procedures including protective hearing and eyewear.
Performs preventative maintenance services on customers' machines, company shop and field equipment.
Maintains daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
Makes suggestions regarding added value to current parts and repairs.
Utilizes tools in a safe, proper, and efficient manner.
Presents a professional image to customers.
Travels to customer's facilities as required.
