This is an exciting opportunity in the sustainable transportation consulting field, supporting Energetics clients in the Zero emission transportation research and development programs. Qualified candidates will be graduates in an engineering or scientific field of interest, as noted below under requirements. Work tasks will primarily be related to the support of government research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) programs in the areas of advanced transportation technologies in the area of electric drive systems. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, with potential for promotion to a management and supervisory position.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupporting activities within the Electric and Energy Efficient Drive Systems Program to develop strategy and help execute U.S. government clean transportation energy R&D programsRepresenting Energetics directly with our existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project deliveryLeveraging existing professional relationships to develop business with new clientsPerforming market and technology assessments; conducting technical, energy, environmental, and economic benefits analysesDeveloping, analyzing and managing data and models related to energy technologies and trendsCollecting and analyzing technology R&D project and program informationDeveloping/contributing to technical communications (reports, white papers, fact sheets, research summaries, briefings)Assisting with facilitating stakeholder engagement meetings and/or summarizing proceedingsProviding project management support, including scheduling of meetings and preparing meeting summariesMinimum RequirementsBachelor s degree in engineering, science, integrated science and technology, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience or a Master s degree in engineering, science, integrated science and technology, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experienceProficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written)High level of motivation and interest in working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentExcellent organization and time management skillsDemonstrated ability to excel working on self-managed tasksStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilitiesMultitasking on time-sensitive tasks without diminished quality of workStrong interest and experience working in the clean energy fieldAttention to detail and meeting responsibilitiesTeam playerDemonstrated interest in transportation and clean propulsion technologiesPreferred RequirementsBachelor s degree in electrical engineeringMaster s degree or a PhD in engineering, science, integrated science and technology, or a related fieldSponsorship is not available for this role.
