Trailer Mechanic


Job Details

This job application is for the position of an experienced Trailer Mechanic.

Sign on bonus $1000.00 After 6 months service

$20.00-$27.00/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Repair/replace damaged trailer posts/panels, doors, floors, top/bottom rails, and roofs
  • Repair/replace lights, wiring, airlines, wheel seals, air bags, axles, and all suspension components
  • Welding
  • Performing PM's and FHWA inspections


Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in trailer repair
  • Knowledge in trailer suspensions and trailer repair structural and non-structural
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Use of air and electric hand tools
  • Must be a problem solver

Preferred Skills:

  • Class A CDL
  • Ability to drive and spot trailers on lot and into bays
