Financial Analyst


Job Details

This position will play a crucial role and be integral to the success of GOEX by working with cross-functional leaders, leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and driving strategic analysis within GOEX.


Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to evaluate financial performance, including but not limited to revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models, forecasts, and projections to support budgeting, planning, decision-making, and scenario analysis.
  • Evaluate and analyze investments in capital expenditures, depreciation, and returns on investments.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct variance analysis to assess deviations from budgeted and forecasted financial & sales targets and provide explanations and recommendations accordingly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Accounting, Operations, and Sales to gather data, validate assumptions, and support financial initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, economic developments, and competitor information that may impact the company's financial performance and competitiveness.
  • Evaluate current and potential suppliers financial stability and recommend negotiation strategies to Management.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, providing analytical support and strategic insights as needed.
  • Responsible for understanding the food safety hazards of their job and following the employee GMPs and other procedures to ensure food safety.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, plus 2-3 years of previous financial analyst experience (in a manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Detail oriented


Location

  • In-office position located in Janesville, WI
  • No relocation payment or stipend offered
  • Work from home is not an option
