Colorado Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) is a nonprofit investment fund that utilizes and leverages mission-driven capital to fill finance gaps to accelerate clean energy projects. CCEF operates on the Green Bank model and identifies unserved and underserved clean energy opportunities in Colorado and beyond. As the newest member of our team, you will play a pivotal role as the relationship owner for the contractors in our network. In order to achieve critical climate goals, we need residential and commercial contractor installers to be activated and supported to execute on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electrification projects. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you will be instrumental in engaging and expanding our contractor base, guiding them through our authorization process, and providing training on how to optimize our CCEF programs. Your passion for clean energy and your 4+ years of experience working with third-party stakeholders or working directly with residential or commercial contractors will be invaluable. Spend your days:

  • Driving the contractor management strategy, meeting frequently in person with key stakeholders across the state, and cultivating strong relationships - serving as their primary point of contact
  • Collaborating with CCEF leadership to understand and refine contractor processes
  • Building strong contractor relationships - providing open communication, setting expectations, and managing requirements
  • Participating in the recruitment of new contractors understanding their needs, guiding them through the authorization process and program training
  • Analyzing and reporting on contractor metrics, providing feedback for improvement
  • Evangelizing our mission through networking, industry events, and public speaking events


Show us your:

  • Bachelor s degree and at least 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership development
  • Adept at cultivating strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders both as a road warrior connecting in-person and virtually
  • Working knowledge of clean energy technologies, including energy efficiency, EV infrastructure, building energy management, building electrification, or solar project development
  • Technologically savvy with proficiency with Cloud-based systems such as Google Workspace and CRMs
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and articulate them in a virtual world
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent at streamlining processes
  • Current Residency in Colorado
