Responsibilities
As a Permanent Associate Attorney | Insurance Defense, you will be expected to
- Manage a caseload involving insurance defense matters, from inception through resolution.
- Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense claims including workers' compensation, general liability, and professional liability.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and interpretation of laws, regulations, and court decisions.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance defense matters.
Job Details
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar Admissions in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of two years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on workers' compensation defense.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance law and workers' compensation defense.
- Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
