Title: Maintenance Tech
Location: Monroe, NC
Shifts: 2nd Shift - 12-8PM Monday - Friday + OT
Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour + OT at time and a half

Position Description: Working under general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Plant Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing maintenance support to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.
As a Maintenance Tech you will be responsible for keeping safety a priority, always with an eye for continuous improvement opportunities around the plant. Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition to help ensure the protection of all plant employees and visitors. Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation. Perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment from blueprints, in technical manuals, or vendor specifications. Recognize and perform machine adjustments to the various manufacturing machine systems. Determining corrective actions based on operational and trouble messages provided by Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Display Monitors or other similar display panels. Assisting with installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment. Understands, follows, and maintains proper records for safety procedures and requirements.
Requirements:
--- 2-4+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting knowledge.
--- Ability to read PLC's is a plus but not a must have.
