Position Summary
The Crewe lab uses a combination of mouse models, biochemistry, physiology, and cellular imaging, to study the regulation of extracellular vesicle (EV) production and how EVs signal to regulate metabolism. We are interested in how these EV-mediated signals contribute to pathology in obesity and diabetes with the hope that we can harness this information to treat human disease.

Required Qualifications
M.D./Ph.D. or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently, yet maintain open communication with peers.
- Authorship on peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience with cell culture.
- Experience in protein techniques.
- Experience with mouse handling and colony management.
- Experience with molecular biology techniques.
Working ConditionsThis position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary RangeBase pay is commensurate with experience.
