This position will be part of the PM team and both guide engineering work, as well as validate and improve on features in the field. With a large engineering team to support, as well as multiple partners, we re looking for someone who embraces challenge, learns quickly, and is fundamentally excited to help us build cars that drive themselves.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead distinct product areas and drive executional excellence across cross-functional teams.Translate our customers needs into clearly defined technical requirements backed by data and

comprehensive industry knowledge.

Evaluate the market opportunities, define product roadmap, and launch/roll-out strategy to scale

our solutions.

Engage closely with the engineering and operations teams to inform decisions that balance timing,

cost, features, and performance, while staying true to the product strategy and vision.

Serve as a cross-functional liaison that bridges engineering, business, operations, and regulatory

considerations to drive product decisions.

Measure our success and improve our products using principled methods and metrics.Find innovative ways to accelerate our development, reduce risk, and improve the overall product experience; work with the company to implement these initiatives and fully realize them.

Years Of Relevant Experience:

7 - 10 years of experience preferred (though not necessarily required)Prior experience in Product Management preferred.

Education - Required:

Degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related field.

Education - Desired:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software systems underpinning our self-driving vehicles or the willingness and ability to learn them quickly

Skills:

Conceptual thinking and analytical skillsStrong product sense and user empathyGreat understanding of technical systems and architectureEffectively work with others across a broad range of technologies, processes, and systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required given our distributed and diverse team.Belief in rigorous, high-quality engineering that produces tangible results quickly.

Specialized Skills - R Equired:

Strong data analysis skills.Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.Excellent problem-solving skillsOrganizational and analytical skills.

Specialized Skills - D Esired:

Prior experience in Product Management preferredThe ideal candidate will be able to reason data into implications.Prior operations experience or knowledge preferred.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the logistics and operational components inherent in a transportation business at scale

In Belmont, California, the salary range for this role is $132,400 - $225,200, depending on education and experience.
