Fire Alarm Service Technician - Full Time $32-$38/hr. DOE Start ASAP
Working from our Dallas or Denver office for one of the leading solution providers of security systems, offering services and solutions for low voltage fire, security, sound, installation and services, the Fire Alarm Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, troubleshooting, installation and repair on a variety of life safety Systems.
COMPENSATION: $32-$38/hr. DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Coordinate daily with office and service coordinator.
  • Answer Client calls promptly and professionally.
  • Service, troubleshoot, repair and installation on a variety of life safety systems.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
  • Fill out and review Work Orders to insure completeness of work and correctness of documentation. Input as applicable into software.
  • Type or otherwise prepare reports and submit as required.
  • Maintain and keep up to date on service billings observing required turn-around time.
  • Ensure that all material and equipment need for each work order is available and complete before leaving the office.
  • Maintains high standard of performance in teamwork, quality, experience, and customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fire alarm: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with low-voltage systems including fire alarm, cctv, card access and security systems.
  • High school degree. College a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong customer service and human relations skills.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Minimum of 5 years of programing complicated fire alarm systems or certification in Notifier, Gamewell, EST or other large platform life safety product.
  • Must have good driving record and clean background
  • Must have a "can do" attitude and work well with others.
  • Must hold a minimum of a Denver Supervisors License.
  • Nicet I or II in Fire Alarm is a plus.
SCHEDULE:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability
