Senior Asset Manager


Job Details

An exciting new opportunity for an Asset Manager within a growing global aircraft parts and components supplier.


Responsibilities and Duties:


Oversee repair vendors to ensure cost-effective repairs and timely deliveries.

Develop, monitor, and evaluate supplier-specific performance metrics and action plans.

Manage vendors, including defining selection criteria.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of repair and procurement processes.

Conduct market trend analysis for departmental planning.

Identify and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, service, and terms.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and vendor consolidation.

Provide recommendations to executive leadership.

Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff.

Deliver management presentations.

Demonstrate conflict resolution skills.

Develop contingency plans when necessary.

Support strategic programs and projects with other departments.

Lead Strategic Procurement Group for parts purchase and replenishment strategies.

Analyze sales data and formulate strategies.

Support daily sales operations.

Resolve issues in repair or purchase orders, parts delivery, and payment matters.

Supervise OEM parts distribution team.

Establish and review purchase and repair budgets.

Travel frequently for meetings, conferences, and exhibitions.

Conduct regular reviews with senior management.

Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.

Perform other assigned duties.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in business or related field.

10+ years of Aviation or Aerospace industry experience in sales compensation design and administration.

Strong leadership qualities, fostering a positive team environment.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work autonomously in a global setting.

Exceptional communication skills, including with executive management.

Strategic thinker with decisiveness.

Dedication to data quality and accuracy.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Identify process improvement opportunities.

Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Handle various projects and articulate business opportunities.

Strong negotiating skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and data analysis tools.

Familiarity with Sales Enablement Tools.

Attention to detail and effective multitasking.
