ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking TWO Buyers for an outdoor products manufacturing company dedicated to providing high-quality gear and equipment to outdoor enthusiasts. This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in Buying looking to further their career!
- Responsible for purchasing goods and services necessary for company operations using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Collaborate with various departments (manufacturing, quality, engineering, etc.) to understand and address procurement needs.
- Utilize data analysis tools to communicate forecasted demand, monitor inventory levels, and contribute to strategic planning.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and changes in supply chain dynamics.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve procurement processes.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFCATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, preferred, additional experience in lieu of a degree could be considered
- 2+ years of manufacturing buying experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & MRP systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain/procurement and quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail, including organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
