A Bill Colwell Ford Customer Service Advisor is a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate, and professional customer service to all our customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers with any questions and correct post-sales problems. Advisors communicate with customers primarily through phone and email and utilize a variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, research and review policies, and communicate effective solutions in a fun and fast-paced environment.

You do not need to be an expert in cars to apply we are looking for an expert of people.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help customers! Our ideal candidate has a customer service background with exceptional listening skills, especially someone who can solve problems and has the ability to thinking quickly while engaged in a conversation.

Responsibilities:

* Communicate with customers (verbal and written) with a problem-solving attitude.

* Understand the issue and make best use of the available resources to resolve the issue.

* Escalate problems and communicate the information to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.

* Demonstrate ownership when resolving challenging customer issues, escalating when necessary.

* Communicate clearly, in both verbal and written as one may be required to communicate with the customers, coworkers, and managers in real time.

* Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.

* Become well versed in company operations to provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources.

Qualifications:

* At least one year customer service experience.

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and documentation skills.

* Ability to empathize and prioritize customer needs.

* Effective problem-solving skills including decision making, time management, and immediate prioritization of tasks assigned.

* Organized and detail-oriented.

* Demonstrated ability to take ownership when resolving challenging customer issues.

* Ability to take constructive criticism, be coachable, and be flexible.

* Familiar with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer

* Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

* Clean driving record and valid drivers license
