**Job Summary:**
The Inventory Specialist **/Box Truck Driver** is responsible for providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, inventorying, and distribution services; supervising staff. The Inventory Specialist also provides maintenance and care of the warehouse, office, buildings, parking lots, and all surrounding premises. Lastly, you will assist the safety department in all safety related needs. This position works with PMs, CMs, Safety Department and crews.
**Responsibilities:**
* Handling pick-up, receiving, warehousing, inventorying, and distribution (shipping/delivering) of materials, supplies and equipment for the field personnel.
* Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
* Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
* Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
* Performing or coordinating preventative building/warehouse/office maintenance and repairs.
* Maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing layouts to improve efficiency; inspecting materials and equipment; maintaining, repairing and replacing as needed.
* Responsible for upkeep & cleanliness of Company buildings, its grounds, parking lot and dumpsters.
* Following Company Safety and Environmental rules and regulations while warehousing and transporting materials and equipment.
* Assisting Safety Department with Company vehicle and equipment management and maintenance.
* Reporting and investigating accident and incidents to Safety Department.
**Requirements:**
* Minimum of 2 years in a Warehouse or Inventory environment
* Minimum of 1 year with Construction Materials, Telecom Construction Materials is a plus
* Clean Driving Record for 5 years
* Follow all DOT (local and Federal) regulations
* Must be professional, ethical and practice high level of confidentiality
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills, ERP or Online Database experience is a plus
* Bilingual a plus
