We're seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable laundry attendant that strives for guest satisfaction during their stay. Responsibilities include loading/unloading and operating commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers and ironing/folding equipment. There will be hand folding of guest room and banquet linen as well. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs Qualifications: Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred Compensation: $15 - $15.50 hourly
