**KNDC - INTERNAL - Crew Member - Halibut Season 2022**

The Kwakiutl Nation Development Corp (KNDC) requires 1 or more crew members to work on the *Western Sunrise* for the 2022 halibut fisheries season.
**Crew Members requirements** **:**
* Must have significant experience in the Halibut fishery
* Must be reliable
* Must be able to be at sea for extended periods of time (ie. A week to 10 days).
* Must be able to work well with other crew members
* Must have valid Commercial Fishing license
* Must have Small Vessel Operators Proficiency, Restricted Operators Certificate Maritime, Maritime Emergency Duties A3 and Stability Education
* Must have their own rain gear and rubber boots
* Must be aware of their duty stations and responsibilities in the event of an emergency
* Are responsible for following instructions issued by the skipper and make every effort to reduce the chance of injury or accident to themselves, their crew mates, and the vessel
* Preference will be for seasoned fishers who are able to fish in all weather conditions
* Must be able to follow direction, be patient and flexible
* 60 tonne ticket or greater is considered an asset.
