Title: Instrumentation Technician

Shift: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour + OT at time and half

Position Description: Company is looking for an Instrumentation Technician who has experience with the instrumentation of systems, including tubing and low-voltage systems. This technician will have a hands-on role in the execution of facilities and construction projects that support the infrastructure and engineering of fusion plasma devices.
As Instrumentation Tech you will be responsible for tubing installations. You will select the type and size of tubing and fittings according to job specifications and install new tubing, modify, or repair existing tubing installations. You will install both gas and pneumatic valves, solenoids, and instrument systems. You will inspect, test, and commission all tubing installed. As an Instrumentation Tech at the company, you will also be responsible for low-voltage cable installations. You will install electrical enclosures and general electronics systems. You will also install fiber optic communication cables and terminations in this role. They are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, and a self-starter with the ability to work. Someone who can prioritize workload, but also work collaboratively and effectively with other team members.
Requirements:
--- 3-5 + years of experience working on low-voltage control systems and performing tubing installations. Ability to interpret and create P&IDs and schematic diagrams.
--- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
--- Electrical construction experience is preferred but not a must-have.
