This position is located in our Arlington, Virginia office, and support Program managers in one of the largest and fastest growing sectors of ARA. The successful candidate is passionate, results driven and committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

**What youll do as a Senior Corporate Buyer**

* Perform a variety of routine to complex purchasing duties

* Work with Division Purchasing Administrators and Project Managers to establish accurate and compliant Goods & Services purchase requisition packages

* Review and take independent action to ensure purchase requests contain the proper file documentation, approval, and audit trail of transactions as appropriate in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)

* Generate Purchase Orders in Deltek Costpoint system

* Respond to requests for Purchasing information, exercise independent judgement, review available information and work with Division Purchasing Administrators

* Provide training to division Purchasing Administrators and staff on purchasing requirements

* Support DCAA/DCMA Audits, i.e., Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR)

* Track procurement workflow through Request Tracker (RT) system

* Build positive relationships with divisions and internal teammates by providing excellent customer service, and maintain relationships through communication, education, and collaboration

* Contribute to process improvements

**Senior Corporate Buyer Requirements**

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience or 10 years of related field experience in lieu of a degree

* Demonstrated knowledge/experience working in a Federal procurement environment and FAR/DFAR requirements

* Experience with procurement file documentation for federal acquisitions: Competition, Sole Source Justification, Price/Cost Analysis, Reps & Certs, Commercial Item Determination, Market Research, Source Selection, prime contract flowdown clauses

* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat

* Ability to multi-task and work in high volume environment under strict deadlines

* Ability to work independently with little oversight from Purchasing Manager

* Maintain high level of accuracy

**Senior Corporate Buyer Preferences**

* Deltek Costpoint system experience

* SharePoint experience

* General Accounting skills
