Role: Microsoft O365 Lead Consultant

Terms: Contract-To-Hire

Location: Hybrid in Metro Atlanta (3 days per week onsite)


GSqaured group is currently partnered with one of our strategic enterprise partners, a global medical technology and device manufacturer, to identify a Lead Microsoft Office 365 Consultant to help guide them through the design and rollout of a global O365 environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading Office 365 rollouts in large-scale enterprise environments and facilitating the seamless integration of Office 365 in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) scenarios. Additionally, they will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to navigate complex support issues while effectively communicating with executive stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee Office 365 rollout projects across multiple departments and geographical locations within enterprise-level organizations.
  2. Develop comprehensive implementation strategies and deployment plans tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client.
  3. Drive the successful integration of Office 365 in M&A scenarios, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Provide expert guidance and support to technical teams throughout the deployment process, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  5. Collaborate with executive leadership to align Office 365 initiatives with overarching business objectives and priorities.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on Office 365 capabilities, best practices, and industry trends, delivering insightful recommendations and strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
  7. Conduct thorough assessments and audits of existing Office 365 environments, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
  8. Develop and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops for end-users and administrators to promote adoption and maximize productivity.
  9. Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, ensuring effective communication and coordination of efforts.
  10. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and advancements in the Office 365 ecosystem, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge through training and certifications.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading Microsoft Office 365 deployments in enterprise global environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing M&A integration projects involving Office 365.
  • In-depth understanding of Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, technical teams, and end-users.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving project outcomes.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
  • Experience with third-party migration tools and solutions is a plus.
