**IT Support Specialist**

Dropps is growing rapidly and we are currently looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team. Were looking for a problem solver that is comfortable wearing several IT hats, a techie that is passionate about sharing information, and a team player that finds success in their teams success. Youll be an integral part of Dropps IT communications and implementations, all while supporting our sustainable cleaning products!
Reports to the Sr. Systems Administrator.
**Responsibilities**
* On-board and off-board employees
* Manage IT Inventory. This includes hardware and software licenses
* Antivirus monitoring and Reporting
* Handling Help Desk tickets
+ Triaging Help Desk tickets and sending to the appropriate channels
+ Troubleshooting issues with employee devices -diagnosing hardware issues, managing updates, handling device replacement.
+ Troubleshoot SaaS issues. Potentially reaching out to their support team to resolve issues.
+ Investigate SaaS outages
* Maintaining Warehouse network and IT equipment
* Triage technical requests from CX
* Managing users and user permissions across all company applications
**Requirements**
* Experience supporting Mac OSX and Windows users
* 3+ years IT experience
* Experience administering password managers (Okta, Lastpass, Dashlane, etc)
* Experience administering SaaS tools
* Experience administering Cloud Collaboration tools such as Google Workspace in an enterprise environment
* Knowledge of basic networking concepts (WiFi, LAN, Mesh, WAN, DHCP, DNS, etc)
* Able to monitor trends and data to help improve employee happiness and efficiency
* Possess troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Possess exceptional interpersonal communications skills
* Able to multitask and prioritize tasks on the fly
* Solutions-oriented: Sees company-wide issues as a potential opportunity to solve with tech first solutions. Approaches issues with optimism and aims to resolve or find alternatives that meet company needs.
* Self-motivated, proactive, dependable
* Ability to work independently.
* Able to travel to our warehouse facilities occasionally
* Dedication to sustainability
**Nice to have:**
* Extensive experience with Google Workspace
* Background in CS (Associates or Bachelors in CS)
* Basic scripting knowledge (bash, python, JavaScript, etc..)
* Certifications in IT field (A+, Network+, etc..)
**Physical requirements** (with or without reasonable accommodations):
* Ability to use common office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse/touchpad, etc.,
* Ability to visually interpret images, ability to communicate with team members, and attend virtual meetings.
* This is a primarily stationary role at a desk (seated or standing, according to preference), so must be able to sustain sitting/standing for the majority of work time.
* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside our warehouse facilities to access office machinery, etc.
* Occasional lifting under 40 lbs
* Occasionally ascending or descending ladders to service wiring, etc.
* Occasional movement to adjust computers, etc. including under desks
