Accountant


Job Details

We seek an experienced accountant to join our team in a specialized role focusing on payroll, benefits, and time-tracking management in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) while also handling other accounting responsibilities, including Expensify administration. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the continuous improvement of our scalable accounting function, ensuring accurate financial recording, reporting, and analysis while optimizing new systems and processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage payroll processes, including accurate and timely processing of employee payments, deductions, and taxes in UKG.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration, ensuring successful enrollment, validating deductions, and verifying accurate billing from providers.
  • Administer and maintain comprehensive time tracking systems in UKG and employee expense management in Expensify.
  • Prepare analyses and account reconciliations related to payroll, benefits, and time-tracking activities, supporting an efficient monthly close process.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to streamline and improve recurring payroll, benefits, and time-tracking processes.
  • Provide support for financial statement preparation and management reporting, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct research and ad hoc analysis as required to support decision-making processes.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience and 2 years of payroll-related experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong preference will be given to candidates with Sage Intacct, Expensify and/or UKG experience.
