Our NonFerrous Scale Buyer is essential to the success of our company as you help ensure commodities are graded and purchased correctly. Further you regularly operate small equipment, and direct customers to the proper location to unload material. Being dedicated to safety and accuracy, you follow all guidelines, and when purchasing nonferrous materials, you make sure all legal requirements are followed and all purchased metals are accurately classified. Being highly organized, you make sure your work area is clean and you make sure all equipment is inspected daily. Finally, when needed, you are happy to cross-training in other positions, so you can effectively assist other employees. Ultimately, we rely on you to help keep our scrap metal recycling company running smoothly!
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* Nonferrous knowledge
* Able to successfully operate essential equipment
* Able and willing to work overtime and Saturdays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions
* Able to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day
* Able to accurately use basic hand tools
1 year of previous general labor and/or customer service experience is **preferred**, but not required, we will train the right person.
