Are you an experienced storage guru looking to take charge of a global storage environment? We're seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to join our team and oversee our diverse storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, implementation, and security compliance efforts for SAN and NAS storage systems
- Optimize storage infrastructure for availability, performance, and disaster recovery
- Ensure data accessibility adheres to security standards and industry best practices
- Manage patching and provisioning procedures for storage systems
- Troubleshoot and manage NFS exports, CIFS Shares, and connectivity protocols
- Identify automation opportunities and implement scripting solutions
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot hardware and performance issues
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex challenges
- Establish and maintain operational standards and documentation
- Participate in change control processes and On-Call rotation support
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting large-scale NetApp environments
- Expertise in SAN and NAS storage technologies including NetApp FAS, AFF, Cisco MDS, Synology, and IBM FS5100
- Preferred certification in NetApp Storage Administration
- Advanced knowledge of operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware)
- Familiarity with application/database integration with storage systems
- Strong networking skills related to server environments and virtualization
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
