Job Title: Hydraulic Shop Supervisor

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shop Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing shop, fabrication, repair, service, warehouse, and shipping/receiving activities. The Shop Supervisor will ensure that all procedures are followed, equipment is maintained, production schedules are met, work flow and operational reporting are maintained, the warehouse is properly managed, and shipping/receiving activities meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate shop, fabrication, repair, service, warehouse, and shipping/receiving activities.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and safety.
• Train and develop staff to enhance performance and productivity.
• Manage inventory levels to meet production requirements and minimize excess stock.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
