**Location:** Elkhart, Indiana

**Summary**

The **Customer Service, Bid Coordinator** is responsible for managing and distributing customer Request for Quotes (RFQs) by assembling appropriate personnel and providing relevant product and business knowledge. The Bid Coordinator will perform primary tasks to achieve objectives through long term marketing strategies and short term, tactical sales policies. The Bid Coordinator is accountable for all basic administrative Sales Force functions including identifying opportunities to move projects forward and take the initiative to lead them in shared goals, including account maintenance.

* Researching Solutions from Product Offering

* Quote Development

* Communicate & Collaborate with cross functional team to respond to RFQ

* Manage proposal development process

* Create Reports/Dashboard for Sales Leadership

* Maintain functional area of data management including accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, quotes

* Manage migration and data cleansing

* Participate with cross functional teams that address strategic business issues

* Provide support to users in day-to-day tasks

* Audit Orders

* Assist with training & administration of systems

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* This job has no supervisory responsibilities

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* 2 years' customer service/inside sales experience

* 1 year Sales Force CRM

* Experience reading and analyzing request for quote (RFQ)

* Microsoft Excel required - Word (completing templates), Excel (downloading data from Infor ERP XA Power-Link and manipulating using filters and sort)

**LANGUAGE SKILLS:**

* Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in person, on the phone, and in writing

**COMPUTER SKILLS:**

* Internet based software - Sales Force, Sales Order Planning software

* Order processing software - Infor ERP, XA Power-Link

* MS Office - Word (completing templates), Excel (downloading data from Infor ERP XA Power-Link and manipulating using filters and sort)

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

* The employee must have adequate hearing and visual acuity.

* The position requires being seated a good portion of the day.

* Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

**PPE REQUIREMENTS:**

* In compliance with OSHA standards it has been determined that Safety glasses and footwear are required on the plant floor

* Current Covid-19 precautions are in place and include social distancing and mask mandates

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

* Working environment is in an air-conditioned cubical with occasionally physically going into an unheated/air- conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting where the employee may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, cleaning solvents, lubricants, or noise

* Up to 10% travel may be required

**WORK HOURS:**

* Expected to work 40+ hours weekly

* Typical office hours are worked between 7am-6pm Monday thru Friday

* Work hour requirements could vary with business needs
