About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Fundraising to secure significant donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations outside of the immediate geographic area. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospect research, relationship building, donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and networking skills, capable of representing the organization with professionalism and integrity. The role also involves collaboration with internal stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals, as well as maintaining accurate records of donor interactions and fundraising activities.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree or certification preferred) and a minimum of 5 years' of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of securing major gifts and grants. The role requires a strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with fundraising best practices, ethical standards, and legal regulations. Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time and work flexible hours is essential.
