Job description:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
1. Transaction advisory for fund raising to meet capex requirements for both greenfield & brownfield projects.
2. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding project financials and strategic decision-making.
3. Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate project feasibility, profitability, and return on investment.
4. Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance indicators for each project.
5. Credit Rating Dealing with the rating agencies- Responsible for arrangement for long term and short-term credit rating.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
1. Collaborate with project managers and department heads to establish project budgets and financial targets.
2. Monitor project expenditures and variance analysis to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
3. Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, highlighting potential deviations and proposing corrective actions as needed.
Risk Management:
1. Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with project execution, including market fluctuations, currency risks, and regulatory changes.
2. Implement risk management strategies to safeguard project financials and ensure continuity of operations.
3. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors that may impact project finances.
Funding and Capital Structure:
1. Evaluate various funding options and financing structures to support project initiatives, including debt, equity, and alternative financing arrangements.
2. Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure necessary funding and capital resources.
3. Optimize capital allocation and financing strategies to maximize project returns and shareholder value.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and best practices within the project finance function.
Education: Chartered Accountant | Any engineering degree
Years of work experience: 15 to 20 years
