Account Manager, Patient Affordability


Job Details

Account Managers (AM) are the primary business relationship managers for their assigned clients. AMs manage all aspects of contract, program, financial, and account management for post sales stage implementation and ongoing monthly program management. AMs are responsible for taking client requests and coordinating internal resources to respond appropriately. Ideal candidates must be a self-starter, extremely articulate, and detail oriented. AMs will be expected to manage multiple programs across multiple clients and prioritizing requests as they are received.


Responsibilities


  • Monitors active programs, including estimating resource needs, resource management/scheduling, and development of specifications.
  • Monitors billing, budget and revenue for accounts/brands.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with customers during all program phases.
  • Resolves issues and keep track of all processes that pertain to client s desires on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide hardware, software, and portal support for clients, including escalation of issues to internal experts or teams, as needed.
  • Assists with documentation as needed for continuous process improvement.
  • Collect and analyze data concerning program behavior and communicate effectively to client.
  • Identify new business opportunities with clients and coordinate with sales team. Coordinates client special projects including audits and QBR's.
  • Make recommendations to program strategies and roadmap offering the best solution for client projects in accordance with the SOW and in collaboration with the Director or Associate Director of Client Services
  • Conduct regular meetings (phone, web, onsite) to update the client on program status, deliver presentations and provide an avenue for program enhancements
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with all internal functional areas, and take a leadership role with all internal project stakeholders



Qualifications

  • Associate/Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic budget/accounting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Five years or more of experience in the one or more of the listed fields:

Pharmacy--Technician, Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Management Staff

Healthcare Leadership

Pharmaceutical Manufacturer

Pharmaceutical Patient Services

Prepaid industry

Financial Services


Fully remote, expected travel 30% nationwide
