Notes:
All must be located in California and ideally Santa Clara. Will travel around 70% of the time to be onsite at least the first few months of the engagement. The travel will be Monday Thursday.
Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned SAP OTC Logistics Functional Consultant to facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD modules within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing complex business processes and delivering tailored SAP solutions. You will be responsible for mapping client requirements, designing and configuring SAP SD functionalities, and ensuring that the system aligns with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and support of SAP SD modules, ensuring they meet complex business process requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, document customer requirements, and facilitate workshops to gather business needs.
- Map client business requirements and objectives to SAP SD functionalities, identifying gaps and proposing effective solutions.
- Design, customize, configure, and test SAP SD modules, while also providing troubleshooting support and solving software problems.
- Prepare functional specifications, support development teams, and advise customers on industry best practices within the SAP SD domain.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects, specifically with SAP SD modules.
Proven ability to design and configure SAP SD modules, including enterprise structure, master data, and sales order processing.
Demonstrated experience in multitasking and managing multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of business processes in the high-tech industry, particularly for software and services sales.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document customer requirements and facilitate business requirement workshops.
