Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Estimator at ANVIL IRON WORK INC located in West Babylon, NY. The Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including analyzing architectural and structural drawings, estimating material quantities, preparing cost estimates, coordinating with team members, and reviewing project specifications.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel estimating
- Experience with reading and analyzing architectural and structural drawings
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus
