Design Engineer
Contract
Onsite: near Jersey City, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD software for design modeling and optimization.
- Collaborate with Product Development Engineers and surgeons to define design inputs.
- Assist in prototype manufacture and testing.
- Support quality, regulatory, and marketing projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences (Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred).
- 2+ years of product development experience in medical devices.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SOLIDWORKS.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in product evaluations and surgeries for technical support.
