Job Title: Tool & Die Maker
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm)
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Sign-On Bonus $2,000!
Job Description:
Join our team as a Tool & Die Maker, responsible for diagnosing and repairing tooling Your expertise in tool assembly, disassembly, and sharpening will be instrumental in the fabrication of new tools, dies, and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
As a Tool & Die Maker, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You'll be diagnosing and repairing tooling issues, ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery.
- Learn EDM, CNC lathe, and CAD
- Diagnose tooling issues on and off production machinery
- Perform tool repairs, troubleshooting, assembly/disassembly, and sharpening
- Lift, position, and secure machined parts
- Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications
- Use inspection and measuring techniques for precision parts
- Setup and operate various machinery and hand tools
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools
- Conduct testing to ensure parts meet specifications adjustments when required.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft
- Advanced Math skills
- Commitment to safety
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work overtime as needed
- Desire and ability to learn new tools and techniques
- Four years experience in Tool & Die
- Must provide own hand tools, including precision tools
