Tresp Law, APC, seeks to add a Senior Associate Attorney with 7 or more years of demonstrable civil litigation experience to join our growing, family-oriented firm. We are a highly respected Trust and Probate Litigation law firm, with hundreds of active cases throughout California. This position would be based at our Solana Beach office in the Cedros Design District, just a short walk from the beach, cafes, shops, and the commuter train.
Our current team of eight attorneys enjoy excellent paralegal support, in-house marketing, top-notch networking, and the best research and drafting tools including the full suite of WestLaw, CEB OnLaw, and WealthCounsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Trial experience is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in matters in the Probate division of the California Civil Court, and related civil matters.
- Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Communicate with clients regularly.
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Participate in alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation.
- Provide clients with realistic expectations regarding potential outcomes
