Job Description:
The Westport Day School (www.westportdayschool.org) is a private, therapeutic school (grades 6 through 12) in Fairfield County for students struggling with anxiety and depression. Mindfulness and empathy are core principles. Working conditions at WDS are excellent, class size is small (N < 8), and colleagues are highly supportive.
We are currently looking for a building sub to work the hours of 8:00-2:30 Monday-Thursday and 8:00-1:00 on Fridays. This person will need to cover any classes that a teacher cannot attend due to absences or PPT student meetings. As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for classroom management, delivering the lessons left for you by the regular teacher, and leaving feedback about how the day progressed. Should a teacher not need coverage, this person will be supporting other teachers within the classroom and helping students as they need it.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree (in any subject area)

Salary: $130.00 per day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
