We are currently seeking a Project Hydrogeologist to help evaluate, design, and implement groundwater corrective measures on projects for energy clients nationwide. We look for creative professionals to work on complex projects with collaborative, multidisciplinary project teams. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and adaptable problem solver capable of integrating data in real time to develop solutions that meet evolving regulatory, and client demands. Experience working with coal combustion residuals (CCR) projects is preferred.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business unit in a privately held company with over 60 years of preparing smart, integrated solutions for our clients. This position will be based in our Cleveland, OH office.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:

  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project teams, leadership, and nationwide company offices and client/project locations.
  • Work with and support technical leads on all aspects of the project to address client goals and objectives.
  • Support projects from scoping through final deliverables.
  • Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
  • Support project teams in the interaction with client representatives and contractors.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology or engineering geology.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant environmental geology and/or hydrogeology experience including preparation of remedial work plans and technical specifications for remediation of contaminated sites, including earthwork, contaminated soil management, and site/civil/hydrology aspects of remedial construction projects.
  • Experience with Coal Combustion Residual (CCR) and industrial/solid waste management a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient at writing technical reports to meet project requirements.
  • Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software, plus Microsoft Excel and Word.Microsoft Project and Microsoft Power BI a plus.
  • Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail is expected.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed to support clients, projects, and project team collaboration.
