Fabrication Production Clerk
Job Description
Summary:
This position is the productionscheduler for the Fabrication department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates with suppliers and vendors toorder product inventory.
Schedules and tracks productionmaterials and labor for efficiency purposes.
Receives and verifies ordered partsand materials, approves vendor payments.
Tracks inventory, providesoversight, and schedules physical inventory counts.
Performs computer data entryregarding ordering, production, and billing invoices.
Provides visual quality controlchecks & assistance of built parts daily.
Schedules employee welding testingfor Fab Shop candidates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed.
Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer servicefocus in a fast-paced work environment.
Computer experience, especially with MS Officeproducts-Excel, etc. needed
Forklift trucks experience helpful.
Should possess ability to multi-task, manage timeeffectively, and prioritize tasks.
Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and aself-starter.
Must have willingness to learn products sold, customerservice, policies, procedures, and about the trucking industry as a whole tomeet customer needs.
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, andorganizational skills.
Shift:
Mon-Fri, Day Shift, Full Time

Working Conditions:
Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching,stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaceswill also be present. Subject to heat/cold conditions in warehouse conditions.Moderate use of hands and arms will be needed. May be required to lift to 50 lbs. by self, or team lift to 100 lbs. Willhave long periods of sitting, and computer screen usage.
