Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Criminal Defense Attorney at JCS Law. The Criminal Defense Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of criminal defense cases and representing clients in court. The day-to-day tasks may include conducting legal research, developing defense strategies, negotiating with prosecutors, appearing in court, and providing legal advice to clients. While this role is primarily based in St Louis, MO, some remote work is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Criminal Defense Law, Criminal Defense, and Criminal Law
• Experience in handling criminal defense cases and representing clients in court
• Excellent research skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar and license to practice law in Missouri
  

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include trial experience, knowledge of local court procedures, and experience in handling a wide range of criminal cases.
