One of our top manufacturing clients near Naperville is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. As the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Finance and oversee a team of 2 in the accounting department. This role will require travel up to 3 times a year to one of their working manufacturing plants in Mexico. Please see below for more details!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the month end close process. Deliver accurate and timely financial statements.
- Lead quarterly balance sheet reviews and verify all accounts are reconciled
- Oversee a team of two
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Travel to the Mexico plant 3x a year
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA pursuant (A MUST)
- Working knowledge of cost or inventory accounting
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with D365 highly preferred
*This role will be on-site full time for training, and then there will be flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.*
