Project Accounting Supervisor
Up to $85-95K + 10% Bonus
Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Project Accounting Supervisor to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This individual will be responsible for supervising the daily cycle of project-based accounting and overseeing the monthly review of project profitability and revenue side of the organization. The candidate will directly supervise 6 project accountants.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the execution of periodic accounting procedures including:
- project-based accounting payroll, accounts payable, & billing.
- Input of Projects and cost coding structure into accounting software.
- Monthly review of profitability and revenue/ cost bookings adjustments as deemed necessary.
- Month-end close activities.
- Internal and external reporting.
- Supervise input of all data into the accounting system for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly analytical reports
- Supervise team of 6 project accountants
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3- 5+ years of Public Accounting Experience.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study
- CPA or ability to obtain CPA in the future.
- Ability to successfully manage a team of 6 project accountants.
- Construction accounting experience is strongly desired.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Expert level Excel
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
