Expro is currently recruiting for a Logistics & Compliance Manager to join the Logistics team based in Houston.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Implement and Manage all aspects of Logistics within Expro in area of responsibility. Responsible for the effective implementation and management of Group Logistics policies ensuring acceptable service quality and total cost management. The job holder will promote the adherence to Group Compliance policies and applicable local/international laws. The job holder must provide a mixture of direction and support as required by the operational countries ensuring that we mitigate against any inherent compliance risks.
The key factors of this role are internal/external Compliance controls, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedure, development of logistics process to further enhance group policies compliance and the development supplier performance/commercial relationships.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  1. Carry out internal audits, High Risk Locations (HRC) or locations where inherent Compliance Risks have been highlighted verifying current processes meet required group standards.
  2. Help in the implementation of Logistics policy and Group Objectives to ensure best Logistics practice in each location.
  3. Support and develop area's where Logistics/Customs failures arise.
  4. Key interface with Expro Compliance and Due Diligence teams to ensure constant management of all logistics GSPs aligned to Expro's compliance requirements.
  5. Ensure adherence to the Expro Business Principles and Ethics, Code of Business Conduct, and Logistics Policies by completing full audits of Region Logistics manager's reports ensure that information is accurate, reliable, trustworthy and fair.
  6. Avoid any commercial or customs conflicts of interest ensuring accuracy of contract information, adequate documentation, retention and completion of invoice reviews per our Compliance requirements.
  7. Provide support to Global Logistics Manager on regional operational matters.
  8. Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with manager on any concerns.
  9. Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimized. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro's compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
  10. Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as appropriate.
  11. Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others' safety and provide an environment where they feel authorized to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations.
  12. Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans. Where applicable, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through the competency system. Conduct competency assessments when required.


Job Knowledge and Qualifications

  1. 10 years experience of Logistics Management with a global oilfield service company
  2. 5+ years Management experience of logistics and compliance
  3. Business graduate ( or similar qualification) and / or Lean Six Sigma qualified
  4. Excellent knowledge of Global Customs procedures
  5. FCPA / UK Bribery Act Compliance experience /working knowledge
